M-18 Dromader
Single-engine, low-wing, all-metal monoplane, featuring a tricycle fixed-type main gear with a tail wheel, and hopper located forward of cockpit.
ZThe aircraft radio/navigation system is compatible for VFR or VFR/IFR operation (icl. Comm Nav. Transceiver VOR/LOC), Comm Transceiver UHF.
Characteristic of modified aircraft in „B” version:
- dropping of whole hopper of water/extinguishing agent in about 2 sec. - "water bomb" effect;
- line-drop spraying for fire barrier production – fire-fighting of meadows, moors and peatbogs;
- back cabin is adapted for ground maintenance personnel transportation.
