EADS PZL ZUA Mielec is proud of its extensive many years’ experience in rendering fire-protection and fire-fighting services not only in Poland, but also in many other countries throughout the world, including e.g. Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Chile.
One sector of our services which nowadays shows particularly dynamical development is patrolling and monitoring of forest complexes, roads, pipelines etc.
Proper technological base and qualified staff of specialists allow ZUA to offer its clients a supplementary service consisting in manufacturing and repairs of AW-2 propellers.
In the year 2001, in the organizational framework of our Company we have established a professional Flying Personnel Training Center as a result of granting us the required certificate by Polish Civil Aviation Office.
In the framework of our Training Center we offer the following training courses for pilots:
Theoretical and practical training to agriculture flights rating on aeroplanes.
Additional ratings: - Take off and landing in temporary airfields rating, - Over airport and navigation night flights, - Skills refreshing, - Training on type till 5700kg, - Group flights, - Flights in difficult weather conditions.
Ground school and flights for candidates applying for VFR.
Periodic training, checking the level of theoretical knowledge and practical checking in compliance with license held and ratings on a single engine aeroplanes.
The Qualification Certificate granted to ZUA covers training courses for pilots from both Poland and abroad, carried out both domestically and abroad.
For training purposes we use the M18BS Dromader plane equipped with two-seat cockpit for pilots, which is indispensable in M18B Dromader flying training as well as in preparation for agricultural and fire-fighting flights.
Convenient localization of our firm allows us to carry out flights from both asphalt and grass landing strips.
On the other hand, highly-qualified staff of trainers-pilots guarantees high level of training courses. Individual approach to each student-pilot combined with competent transfer of knowledge and practical skills is our motto. We guarantee our trainees full satisfaction and unforgettable adventure.
